![]() ![]() This change could mean this strat doesnt work, but again idk.Bloons TD is a classic tower defense game where you build an army of monkeys and machines to pop an invasion of balloons. However, with wizard ice farm you usually have to work with a small amount of money to defend bfbs and zomgs (non all out) without being forced to sell your bank/ factories (you could have a factory by the time they send a zomg). Since I havent played this strat myself, idk how much the Absolute zero nerf does to this strategy. ![]() This strat can last to r35 and stall to about r37 (to my knowledge). For defending zomgs use pheonix, ice shard spam and ice stall. Against all out r20 ice stall and spam pheonix (only sell after pheonix wears off, since selling midway makes the pheonix dissapear). R20 bfb use ice stall to get enough money to pheonix ability, you will have to use ice stall again for the moab layer. Make sure you go for a 2-4 bank with this strat, a factory will not work well because its very easy for your opponent to make you sell the factory R18 get a 2nd if they send a moab and a tornado at the back which you sell after(just the tornado). R15 save enough money for a fire mage and get it if they send a ceramic. Its crucial(im pretty sure, that you dont boost against much less than an all out). All out camos you just spam 2-2 wizards with boost. Allout out get an ice shard and 2-1 wizards and boost. R13 get a 2-0 ice if they rush with zebras. For regrow whites you should should get a 1-1 wiz. For blacks you might need a 1-0 wizard or 1-1 wizard depending on the map. Send reds and blues to pressure and get lightning r4 (you wont be able to get a farm since you must get a lightning for pinks, which is why you send reds and blues r2-4). R2 get 1-0 wizard, get 1-1 if they send bloons. I still want to help, so this is what I know about the strat: To start off put down farm get to 1-0. ![]() Jajosh (a bloons youtuber) has lots of videos where he uses wizard ice farm and he is very very good with it (im pretty sure he came up with the strat). I can, the issue is that 1) I dont know how to use it (a bit in theory, but you cant make a guide if you dont actually play the strategy imo), 2) Im not sure how good it is with the recent absolute zero nerf, 3) Heli ice/ace farm looks interesting and since it seems to be very strong, I would prefer learning that strategy and making a guide on that first. For now, the answer to your last question would be ninja farm mortar, especially if you learn to deal with r13-16 effectively (most challenging part of ninja farm mortar). If you want to try a new strat dart farm is a good one to choose (even now when it is an inferior strat lots of players use it to good effect in high arenas). As long as ninja farm mortar is still better than dart farm I would recommend sticking with that. Right now ninja farm mortar is better (pre 4.6) however 4.6 is future balance changes could bring one of these dart farm strats into the meta. There is a large part related to dart farm, since it has been popular or meta for a very long time(thus got nerfs). For example if you are playing against a ninja farm mortar player you want to send grouped reds r2 to force a 2-0 ninja, r4 blues to force a 3-0 ninja, yellows r8 to force mortar with burny stuff, etc. if they fan club a grouped zebra rush they lose money). You want to end bloons to force your opponent to get up more defence and later on potentially kill them or make them lose money (e.g. That doesnt mean that you shouldnt send bloons at all (you dont send bloons for eco tho). Farms make there money pretty much solely off the farms themselves, eco isnt neccessary. Its difficult to play as well as pretty boring and only works on certain maps. Sorry i didnt respond, somehow i didnt get a notification or something. So are the dart, farm variants still worth trying to get good with? More or less, if you were a newer player what would be a comp you would suggest to someone who can take it far with practice? From what I can tell the dart monkey got nerfed a little while back. Is using farms good enough strat without eco focus to go pretty far? Or are there any tips on balancing defense and aggression with bloons while using farms? (I have been primarily using ninja, mortar, farm) There is a large part of your guide and many others that use dart, x, farm. One question I have is as a new player should I even bother trying to learn eco right now? I am playing on mobile, and it seems like even when I pretty much spam bloons and keep my defense to a minimum I still can't seem to hit some of the eco benchmarks I've seen in your guide and others I have read. Well in that case I do have a couple questions now that I have been able to play for 4-5 days and have been able to digest your guide.
